My friend told me about a boy in her class whose dad told him he was too old for Christmas. All the guys on the basketball team secretly bought him a gift each, then all chipped in for a brand new pair of basketball shoes. She said that when he came in and got to open the presents, he cried. Guys who stick together GMH.

I am a teacher for second graders. This past week we’ve been learning about facts and opinions. I said the statement “You are beautiful.” A little girl raised her hand and said it was a fact. When I told her no she said, “Everybody is beautiful. No matter what, they are beautiful.” Little kids like that GMH.

I was at TJ Maxx with my 8 year old daughter in the winter when she saw a package of hot-hands. She asked me “Can I buy these for the homeless man?” She bought them with her own money, and added $10 to the package. All from her birthday money. The man’s face lit up as she gave it to him. She GMH.
